North Carolina salt glazed preserving jar, stamped 'M. R. MOFFITT'. Unusual inner rim surrounded by an outer rim well. Salt drips pronounced on upper rim area of jar. Condition - rim chips on outer rim well, otherwise excellent. Dimensions - 10 1/4" height. 19th century.
