Cherokee rivercane carrying basket, walnut dyed cane forming the arrow design on midsection and rim, bloodroot dyed cane used on the rim area, wooden handle. Condition - fading of walnut and blood dyed cane on one side of basket, otherwise excellent. Old patina on handle and cane. Dimensions - 10" height x 13" length. Late 19th century.
