Cherokee rivercane carrying basket, walnut dyed cane with alternating bloodroot dye forming a variant of the broken heart design, bloodroot dyed cane used on rim area, wooden handle with old patina. Condition - breakage, loss of cane around handles and ends of basket. Dimensions - 14" height. Late 19th century - early 20th century.
