Cherokee split oak basket by Mattie Panther, Olla form with alternating walnut split oak bands. One initial on bottom of the basket appears to be a "C". The basket retains the original Department of the Interior tag for the Eastern Band of the Cherokee. Excellent condition. Dimensions - 14 1/2" height. 20th century.
