Cherokee white oak fruit basket by Rachel Taylor, alternating walnut and blood root dyed split oak. The bottom of the basket has a pencil inscription '2-65 RANL'. The basket retains the original Department of the Interior tag for the Eastern Band of the Cherokee. Condition - excellent. Dimensions - 13" height 17" length. 20th century.
