NC Cherokee double weave rivercane basket attribute

North Carolina Cherokee rivercane double weave basket, attributed to Eva Wolfe (1922-2004). Walnut and bloodroot dyed rivercane with birds eye pattern around outside with natural cane borders, alternating walnut and bloodroot dyed cane forming an arrow pattern around the basket sides and alternating smaller arrow pattern on the outside bottom of the basket. The inner basket sides have a different pattern of alternating rows of natural cane with rows of walnut and bloodroot dyed cane. Square base with rounded rim. Excellent condition. 8 3/4" width x 8 3/4 length x 4 5/8" height. Early to Mid 20th century.
