Southern sideboard from Southwest Virginia

Southern sideboard, attributed to Scott County, Virginia. Consisting of two dovetailed drawers over two paneled doors with vertical dividers. Side panels also have vertical dividers. Case ends in boldly turned feet. Highly figured "blistered" poplar is used for the drawer fronts, lower doors and side panels.  Appears to retain the original surface. Height 45 1/2" x 43 1/2" width x 18" depth. Circa 1840-50.
