Lead glazed redware jug, attributed to East Tennessee, Southwest Virginia or Western North Carolina. Consisting of a lead glazed jug with extruded handle, tapered rim, and footed base. The manner in which the extruded handle is attached to the jug, tapered rim, and footed base are characteristics of Southern redware from the attributed region. Condition - minor chip to base, otherwise very good condition. 10 1/2" height. Early 19th century.
