Chippendale style mirror

Chippendale style mirror, probably New England or Mid Atlantic. Backing to mirror has label affixed, 'A. Mungers made warranted m wholesale & retail by Munger & Benedict Auburn N.Y'. Asa was a partner from circa 1818 to 1820 with J. H. Benedict in Auburn NY as MUNGER & BENEDICT. The wooden board covering the back of the mirror appears to have been taken from the back of a Munger clock case. The Munger & Benedict partnership only lasted two years, 1818-1820. Condition - small areas of missing veneer around mirror edge, appears to retain the original glass. 36 1/2" height x 15 1/2" width. Early 19th century.
