First basket Sullivan or Washington County, TN. Split oak carrying basket with rope wrapped rim. Retains an old, possibly original patina. Condition - excellent, no visible breaks. 11 1/2" height x 8 1/2" width. Early 20th century. Second basket - East Tennessee basket, split oak with wide bands, wrapped handle. 12" width x 11" height. Early 20th century.
