English silver tongs, brite cut engraving throughout with the initials E G*C. Hallmarks of man, lion, and letter 'E' as well as the the hallmark 'GB' (the B is almost completely obliterated) suggest London, England silversmith, George Baskerville. Excellent condition. Length 5 1/2". Late 18th/Early 19th century.
