Rare Kazak Caucasian rug (probably Southern Caucasus), geometric motifs with ivory leaf and calyx border, signed. Condition - wear to selvage, border near signature, right border area. Dimensions - 45" x 73". Late 19th century. Provenance - the estate of John Palmer's family of Kingsport, TN (NBC News correspondent).
