New York Lake Erie & Western A&W Lantern

Description

A nice all original Adams & Westlake "Adams" model lantern frame. No dings, dents or other damage. The frame stands very straight. The lid is clearly stamped "NYLE&W RR". This was the name used by the Erie Railroad between the oldest name Erie Railway and the more modern era Erie Railroad. This frame is probably from the late 1890s. The frame features flat verticals offering extra strength. The pot is a twist off model and the base of the frame wants an extended base globe (no platform for a Corning model). The frame is nicely stamped and it also has the Adams & Westlake information on the very top. The globe retaining spring assembly is fine. The globe is a clear unmarked extended base that fits nicely. Very Good condition.
