Condition/Details: This antique work is an early account of the pre-Columbian discovery and settlement of North America in the tenth century, "with notices of the early settlements of the Irish in the Western Hemisphere." The volume is illustrated with three folding plates, two of which are maps. The book has wear to the outside, with a library tape repair under the cloth spine, and clear tape over the top. The binding is intact with some wear and repair to the hinges, and the pages are clean with library markings.
