James A. Farley Commemorative Stamp Sheet

JAMES A. FARLEY, Postmaster General of the United States.
This lot of 3 items includes 2 commemorative stamp sheets measuring 3.8” x 3.6”, and 6 connected “16-cent Special Delivery” stamps. The commemorative stamp sheets have been signed by then Postmaster General, James A. Farley in green ink. The legend around the stamps reads, “Printed by the Treasury Department Bureau of Engraving and Printing, Under Authority of James A. Farley, Postmaster General, in Compliment to the Trans-Mississippi Philatelic Exposition and Convention, Omaha, Nebraska, October, 1934., Plate Number 213141.” These signature are courtesy autographs, and are in Choice Mint condition, O.G., N.H. The 16-cent stamps have also been signed in green ink by Farley, his signature measuring 2.5”. (3 items)
