Rare pair of Middle Tennessee double handle jars

Rare pair of Middle Tennessee double strap handle jars, descended from a Sweetwater, TN family. Handles on both jars pulled with a central channel, handles terminating at midsection taper and curl up. Both jars show a brown/green/gray glaze transition typical of Middle TN stoneware. Left jar condition - small, shallow chip to base, otherwise excellent. Left jar height 8 5/8". Right jar condition - minor roughness to portion of rim, 1" area of rim broken and re-attached, left handle broken and re-attached. Right jar height 8 11/16". Late 19th/Early 20th century.
