Entitled Girl with Calabash, by Cornelia Macintyre Foley, dramatic black background shows an island bare busted woman holding a bowl and a tropical skirt in a lush leaf setting. The detail work of her face, flower in her hair and pattern of fabric design in the skirt is extremely well done. Artwork size is 8 inches wide by 10 inches tall. The condition is good with a very, very mild surface discoloration from having a cardboard backing. The artist was a well known Honolulu and California painter.
