Charles Bartlett was well known for his Chinese, Indian and other exotic locales for etchings. Signed in pencil Charles W. Bartlett and 53/75, this is in good condition showing natives in a wooded setting with mountains in the background having a noon meal. Very interesting facial contours are shown with the lines. The costumes and head treatments have a unique feeling to them. Mr. Bartlett was very active in Honolulu. Measurements of the artwork are 10 inches wide by 7 inches tall.
