Original canvas; slight warping of canvas visible in upper left corner; faint craquelure throughout sky; stable surface (impasto in bottom half of composition intact); light surface grime; under UV exam, thin, approx. 4-inch line of in-painting surrounded by several tiny pinpoints of in-painting in sky in upper left quadrant; small dot of in-painting near topmost cloud in upper right quadrant.
