CDV by Mumler, Boston. The first in an important group of offerings of early "Spirit" photographs. A strip label on the verso identifies the subject as "Annie Lord Chamberlain, Musical Medium, showing spirit hands, instruments, etc." An arm plays the guitar on her lap. The objects above her head, the "instruments," are indistinct. Very light foxing at left.[3-]
