They are on heavy stock, no imprint, but transliterated names are written in pencil verso. "Kanoko" looks at an illustrated book. "Murasaki of the pleasure quarters" stands with her back to us. Lugiri holds up a cloth. Kochikibu shows her elaborate hair arrangement. She is labeled "prostitute" in pencil beneath. All are clean, undamaged. Tones vary. [3]
