He was the son of the great Chief Keokuk, and is sometimes called Keokuk Jr. He was in a Sac and Fox delegation to Washington in 1868. This and the next were the only Indian subjects in a CDV album that descended from Hiram James Strickler, the first Adjutant-General of Kansas Territory. They were placed among portraits of early Kansas Territory and family-related figures. CDV by A. C. Nichols, Leavenworth. Light soil; top of mount trimmed. [2+]
