He was a member of the 1868 Sac and Fox delegation to Washington, that also included Moses Keokuk. Sleuthing by Mike Cowdrey located him in a photograph (by Brady) of members of the delegation. A Gardner photograph of the delegation shows this person with the cane he carries in this CDV. A portrait by Shindler is Plate 93 in Paula Fleming's "Native American Photography at the Smithsonian." CDV by A. C. Nichols, Leavenworth, has the mount trimmed at top. Light soil. [3-]
