Meissen commemorative stein, 1910, executed in blue and white porcelain with pewter lid, having a grape and leaf frieze at rim, the body centering the Meissen crossed swords, above the dates, 1710 – 1910, to either side are the crowned Saxon shield with rampant lions, symbolizing the House of Wettin and the crest of the town of Meissen, produced for the 200th anniversary celebration of the founding of the Royal Saxon Porcelain Factory at Meissen, marked with underglaze blue crossed swords (cancelled), 7"h.
