(Andrew Newell Wyeth, N.A., Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania/ Maine, born 1917), two-page autograph letter signed Andy, on a single sheet of his stationery imprinted Cashing Road, Thomaston, Maine, dated September 6, 1963, to Ed[ward] and Barbara [Coffin], in gratitude for a boat named The Edward made for him as a gift, watercolor on stationery, page 10-5/8 x 8-1/4 in. (sight), illustration 6-1/4 x 8-1/4 in. (sight); modern painted and gilt wood frame with sandwiched glass. Creases, folds, minor stains, browning on verso from drawing bleed-through.
