New Kingdom, Mid-Dynasty XVIII, time of Akhenaten to Tutankhamen, c.1353 - 1332 BC. A limestone head of a male, wearing a plaited wig; remains of back pillar. Nicely detailed hair and facial features. Some abrasion. H: 3 7/8". On custom stand. A nice piece of sculpture from one of the mot famous periods of Egyptian history.
