⁂ Toole Stott records three copies of the Conversatzione , one of which was the Findlay copy, apparently the last copy to appear at auction, sold in 1979. It is not listed in the British Libray Catalogue. Milbourne Christopher had a separate copy of the frontispiece, apparently issued unfolded as a print (see page 57 of his Panorama of Magic ). Toole Stott appears not to have known the Yates item, which mentions Astley’s Amphitheatre and describes Cross’s Menagerie.
