An American Rosewood Bedstead , mid-19th c., probably New Orleans, the headboard with an arched crest over a finely carved floral cartouche issuing acanthus scrolls over a lower panel with heavy beading flanked by massive molded posts (reduced in height) and turned finials , shaped rails adorned with floral carved reserves and a conforming footboard, probably original finish, height 71 in., width 59 in., length 76 in
