  • ARTIST'S BIO:
    Ana Maria Nava graduated architectual school in 1989 from the University of Zulia in Venezula. In 1995 she studied the art of glass making under the teachings of Mery Bellorin, and has mastered the difficulties and frustrations of glass art.

    Using the marvelous element of fire , she achieves remarkable pieces of great beauty, transforming them into mobile sculptures (related to constructivism).

    The result being a harmonious fusion between glass and metal.

    In 2004, Ana Maria Nava studied at the Pilchuck Glass School in Seattle, Washington, and has worked along side of Dale Chihuly.
    She has exhibited in numerous galleries and museums in South America and the United States, and in Europe.

  • ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
    This piece is hand made fused art glass that is placed in side two separate metal frames.

    The piece is kinetic (moveable).
