George Washington Souvenir Hatchet Printed in 1882. Wood hatchet with a different lithographed paper image on each side depicting George Washington as a child cutting down a cherry tree and as a man on horseback. Written down the handle in "twig" style lettering is "G. Washington". An early and unusual piece of memorabilia. Dated. By Gillespie and Moddie. From the Collection of Bob Merck. 12" long. (Very Good - Excellent).
