Belsnickle Exceptionally rare form, likely made in Pennsylvania in the 1870's. Composition head with glass eyes and wooden teeth. Horsehair beard. Original fabric clothes with rabbit fur trim, stockings and shoes. Leather strap over shoulder with metal bells. Many early toys including wood tenpins, composition clown, soldier doll, baby rattle, pocket watch, etc. Fabric bag and some toys likely added over the years. Includes extraordinary original blown glass dome with wood base. From the Collection of Bob Merck. 25 " tall. (Excellent).
