Letter signed by Bill McGowan, dated October 21, 1949 addressed to Ken Best. The letter is about the possibility of Mr. Best attending Bill McGowan's empire school in Chevy Chase Maryland. McGowan, an empire, was inducted into the HOF in 1992. The two pictures were included in the packet that McGowan sent to Mr. Best. This is from the Ken Best Collection; he began this collection in 1947. This was acquired by mailing a request directly to the to Bill McGowan.
