Three ring binder of 1919 Chicago White Sox (Black Sox) and 1919 Cincinnati Reds with the history of the 1919 World Series. It includes many photographs, press clippings and other printed material regarding the scandal surrounding "The Big Fix" in the 1919 World Series. AUTOGRAPHS 1919 WHITE SOX INCLUDE: Joe Benz, Eddie Ciotte, Shano Collins, Dave Danforth, Chick Gandil, Dick Kerr, Harry Leibold, Eddie Murphy, Swede Risberg, Charlie Robertson, Red Russell, Bib Falk who was Joe Jackson's Replacement In 1920. AUTOGRAPHS 1919 CINCINNATI REDS INCLUDE: Ray Fisher, Heinie Groh, Larry Kopf, Dolf Luque, Jimmie Ring, Dutch Ruether, Jimmie Smith, Greasy Neale. This is from the Ken Best Collection; he began this collection in 1947. These autographs were collected at a HOF Induction Ceremony or at some other sporting events he attended or by mailing a request directly to the ballplayer.
