Autographed photo & letter Waite Hoyt HOF Member

Framed 8 X 10 photograph of Waite Hoyt, HOF 1969, autographed by him with signed 3 X 5 index card and short letter to Ken [Best]. This is from the Ken Best Collection; he began this collection in 1947. This autograph was collected by mailing a request directly to the ballplayer. NOTE FROM KEN BEST: I wrote to him asking a few questions about his career. I received a large envelope (not the small one I had enclosed in my letter), and he had included the 8 x 10 signed photo, a fact sheet about his career and autographed by him, my index card I had sent to him with a nice comment and signed and took the time to answer the questions I had asked him. What a pleasant surprise. I have visited with him in person and he is a very pleasant person.
