Boxer and Heavyweight Champion of the World 1919-1926, Jack Dempsey original family photographs. Four photographs of actors and actresses inscribed to Leona, Jack Dempsey's wife's sister. (1) Photograph of Buster West inscribed "For Leona, Wishing her all the luck a campfire girl should have", measures 10 high x 8 wide. (2) Photograph of Jack Kerr, to Leona, "One of the W. Girl" measures 10 high x 8 wide. (3) Photograph of Frances inscribed "To Leona, Wish You Lots of Happiness, From Frances", measures 11¾ high x 8 wide. (4) Photograph inscribed "To Dear Leona, Fondest Wishes For Everything Good For You, Regards Rose Pey????, 1928", measures 10 high x 8 wide. These photographs are from the Estate of Hannah Dempsey, Jack Dempsey's 3rd wife (July 1933 – 7 July 1943, divorced) and mother of two of his three children. They lived in the Scranton – Wilkes Barre area of Pennsylvania.
