c. 1876 38-Star Flag Postcard Advertisement for Johnson Bookstore, Choice Extremely Fine. 3" x 4.5," a neat, colorful postage with a great vignette of George Washington floating in a sea of stars. From the Mastai Collection, with his embossed blindstamp at lower right and his inkstamp on the back. The entire back is toned, most likely from a previous mounting.
