This is a original Pink Pather hand inked gold stock production cel done by a United Studios artist with notes and peg holes. This cel was used in a episode titled G.I. Pink that aired in 1968 and comes with a printed background. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity inlaid verso issused by Peterborough and Lalcaster London. Measures 23 by 24 inches framed. The Pink Panther is the sly lanky animated cat created by Friz Freleng and David DePatie. Often harried but rarely ruffled the character was first created for the opening titles of the live-action film The Pink Panther (1964). The animated titles were so popular that DePatie and Freleng immediately set to work on a series of animated shorts.
