Molded fiberglass shells, metal, rubber. Green DAR: painted wire base, with a Herman Miller decal. Light yellow DAX: embedded rope edge, chrome-plated metal legs, with a Herman Miller decal. Both manufactured by Zenith Plastics for Herman Miller Furniture Company, USA. Yellow DAR: chrome-plated wire base, with a Herman Miller molded mark. Red LAR: chrome-plated wire base, with a Herman Miller paper label and stamped "Mar 12 1959." Both manufactured by Herman Miller Furniture Company, USA (4).

Green DAR: 31 ¼ in. (79.4 cm) high; Light yellow DAX: 29 ⅌ in. (74.6 cm) high; Yellow DAR: 31 ¼ in. (71.4 cm) high; Red LAR: 24 ⅌ in. (62 cm) high.
