This is a original limited edition lithograph on Rives paper by french listed artist Yves Ganne circa 1971. The piece is untitled hand signed by the artist lower right margin and numbered lower left margin example 222 of 275. Authentication and Artist Bio attached verso from publisher The Collectors Guild of New York and Paris. The lithograph measures 22 1/8 by 16 1/4 by inches and framed measures 30 by 23 inches. Yves Ganne was Born in France July 13 1931. He studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts of Nantes and with Fernand Léger in Paris. He first received critical notice at the exhibition of the Prix de la Jeune Peinture in 1950 and was awarded the Prix de la Ville de Menton in the same year. He had his first Paris exhibition in 1954 at Drouant Davids where he exhibited again in 1957. He exhibited in London at Tooth and Sons and in several group shows in France and abroad. Gannes vividly colored landscapes and still lifes have been acquired by the French Government the City of Paris and the Musée dArt Moderne in Paris. In June 1990 his work titled Le vieux travaillant à la vigne rouge sold at Fisher auction house in Luzern for 3304 dollars.
