1994 Michael Jordan Chicago White Sox Photo Shoot Worn Home Jersey & Pants (2)

After retiring from basketball in 1994, Jordan spent the next year pursuing a childhood dream: professional baseball. He signed a minor league contract with the Chicago White Sox of the American League (AL), reported to spring training, and was assigned to the team's minor league system. He had an unspectacular professional baseball career for the Birmingham Barons, a Chicago White Sox farm team, batting .202 with 3 HR, 51 RBI, 30 SB (tied for fifth in Southern League), 11 errors and 6 outfield assists. He led the club with 11 bases-loaded RBI and 25 RBI with runners in scoring position and two outs. He also appeared for the Scottsdale Scorpions in the 1994 Arizona Fall League. On April 7, 1994 Michael Jordan took the field as a Chicago White Sox vs. the Chicago Cubs in the Windy City Classic exhibition game April 7, where he was 2-5 with 2 RBI. Prior to the game Jordan donned this uniform for a promotional photo shoot. On the left front tail of the jersey is a "RUSSELL ATHLETIC" manufacturer's tag with a size "46." Attached below are three additional tags, "100% POLYESTER," "2" EXTRA LENGTH," and a strip tag "45-46-94." On the right breast and back of the jersey is "45" done in black on grey tackle twill. On the left breast is the "White Sox" team logo patch done in white, black, and grey tackle twill. On the left sleeve is a "White Sox" logo patch. On the right sleeve is the Major League Baseball "125th Anniversary" patch with the Russell "R" embroidered logo below. On the back inside waistline of the pants is a "RUSSELL ATHLETIC" manufacturer's tag with a size "34." Attached is an additional tag, "100% POLYESTER." To the right of this tag is a strip tag "45 JORDAN 34/34-35.5-94." On the back left pocket is the Russell "R" embroidered logo. This jersey and pants show wear and appear to have no alterations of any kind. Includes original Letter of Provenanc
