Super Bowl 23 came down to Hall of Famer Joe Montana throwing the ball to game MVP Jerry Rice. Rice compiled 11 catches for a Super Bowl record 215 yards while Montana completed 23 of 36 passes for a Super Bowl record 357 yards and two touchdowns. This "Wilson" manufactured official "NFL" football has the "SUPER BOWL XXIII" logo stamped in black on one panel and has "San Francisco 49ers vs. Cincinnati Bengals Miami, FL - January 22, 1989" stamped in black on a second panel. The laces are faded and show dirt spots. The ball shows game-use.
