Description

Vintage purse with miniature portraits set in filigree brass frame with push down catch - c.1900. Scene wrought in wool and silk crewel work, features a man and woman on the front with a river landscape and castle on the back. Faces have been stitched in a dimensional manner. Loss of some crewel work, slight separation of fabric from frame and wear to lining. 8.5"H x 8.5"W; chain-7.5"L.
