Description
Egypt, Late Period, c. 26th-30th Dynasty, 664-332 BCE. The nude child depicted in a squatting position, once seated on a sloping floor, wearing the Double Crown flanked by lotus buds. His round face and chubby cheeks framed by a braided diadem and sidelock. His right hand lifted to his chin and his forefinger to his mouth, and holds a cornucopia in his left arm. 2"H (5.2cm).
