Italian prie-dieu, early 17th/18th c., with cherub form pedestal and shell armrest, 34 1/2'' h., 22'' w.

Kneeling stool. Handcarved. Wood type is hard to determine because it is so dark, possibly walnut. Minor repair to tips of base. Old repaired cracks. Overall very good condition.
