Pair of Nineteenth Century Rust and White Comforter Spaniels, English, mid- to late-nineteenth century. Two charming red and white "comforter" spaniels with fine hand-painted details, gilded collars with lockets and chains, and full, curly tails; one pup is about 10" high; his companion is 9.5".
