Early Victorian Bookcase in Walnut, American, ca 1840-1865. A one-piece cabinet having 6 adjustable shelves, upper section with 2 glazed doors having 3 panes each; lower section with 2 inset panel doors with applied arched tombstone mouldings. Resting on a scalloped skirt; stepped, rounded cornice moulding. Refinished, inside and shelves in an older mustard paint; 90.5" high x 54" wide x 13" deep.
