An Important American Art Furniture Carved Mahogany Upholstered Chair , c. 1880, attributed to Louis Comfort Tiffany/Associated Artists, New York, one stile topped with a carved frog figure, the other a bird, rectangular upholstered back, seatrail with nailhead decoration, square legs with lobed vegetal feet ending in glas s spheres, height 39 in. Note: The glass spherical feet within a four prong metal housing used in lot 153 are identical to those on an armchair attributed to L.C.
