This is a original large color dry point etching with aquatint on paper by master etcher Louis Icart. The title is Musetta created in 1927 in a very small and rare limited edition. Hand signed by Louis Icart in the lower right margin and bares the artist blind stamp in the lower left margin. These large Icart etchings are very rare and hard to find. In 1995 at Du Mouchelles auction house another example of this etching sold for 3200 dollars. Comes with COA from the author of Louis Icart The Complete Etchings Nathan Isen. Impression measures 21 1/4 by 14 1/8 inches and framed measures 35 by 28 inches. Retail Value $6500.00
