This is an antique English Sterling Silver Cigarette Case. It has the proper English Hallmarks and they say that this case was made in Birmingham England in 1902. The makers mark is W*T. Both halves of this case are marked on the inside. The inside has a gold toned finish. It is nicely engraved on the front and the back with spiral patterns and there is a raised disk on the front with a crowned Lion and anchor. On The banner below it reads -SPECTEMUR ACENDO - which means - Judge Us By Our Actions. * * * This sterling case weighs approx. 87 grams. It measures about 3 1/2 inches long and 2 1/2 inches wide. The condition is excellent.
