26th Dynasty, 664-525 BC and later. A mixed group of amulets comprising: a pale blue standing figure of Thoth in baboon form with dorsal pillar and base; a cast bronze figure of Harpokrates with sidelock and finger to his mouth; fragment of a seated figure with rectangular base, openwork motifs to the base of the chair and hieroglyph to the reverse. Cf. Andrews, C. Amulets of Ancient Egypt, London, 1994 items 10, 24. 15 grams total, 22-33 mm (3/4 - 1 1/4"). Ex Steinberg collection; acquired London art market, 1960s-1970s.
